Her ALL VINTAGE outfit is not original but goes well with the doll and is probably around the same time period as when this doll was made.
In very good condition, well-constructed, and typify a young school-age child of the 1920’s. These clothes include:
·
Cream-colored, starched white cotton sailor dress that is double-breasted with red trim. A red collar is trimmed with in white and white sleeve is trimmed in red. Four (4) Mother-Of-Pearl buttons adorn the front of the dress helping show that this is double-breasted.
·
ADDITIONS since I purchased this doll:
o
Antique cream-colored bonnet trimmed in red with matching red silk rosettes at each side and a red silk tie. Scalloped cream trim surrounds the face opening with red trim eyelet. The red color of the bonnet matches the sailor dress well.
o
Vintage patent leather black Mary Jane shoes easily fit the pointed velvet feet and look similar to the ones produced by Chad Valley in the 1920’s.

Jan Foulke’s Guide to Dolls (2011) lists between 5.00 and Linda Edwards DOLL VALUES 12
th
Ed. (2012) lists around 0.00- 5.00. Since I purchased her three (3) years ago, her price reflects current prices in today’s doll market today. I will send all of the previous paperwork (auction and pictures) that I downloaded at the time of purchase.
The shipping price reflects the type of packing I use (double boxing at times), the size of the box, and the insurance needed. If there is a large difference (more than .00) at the post office, I will refund your account in PayPal or eBay.
Take a look at my other auctions. I currently have two (2) small “googly” dolls that are rarer versions from the firms of Gebruder Heubach and Armand Marseilles, a vintage OOAK mohair bear, a very rare 18” Kley Hahn 169 boy doll with exceptional clothing, wonderful 16” Kestner 245 “Hilda”, and a 22” French Bebe walking/ kissing/ flirty doll with SH 1039 bisque head with custom made sailor outfit. I also have a whimsical antique French plant stand that has a “folk art”/ “arts and crafts” look.
