14" x 11" BRONZE / BRASS GANESHA GOOD LUCK ELEPHANT ON CONCH SHELL STATUE

Description

Offered at auction from a local South Florida Estate, is  a  Very  Nice  VINTAGE  SOLID  BRASS or  BRONZE   "  HINDU   GANESHA  ELEPHANT  SITTING  ON  A  CONCH  SHELL  ( Shankha )  STATUE ".  "Ganesha"  symbolizes " Good Luck " in the Hindu faith.  This Impressive Statue Measures  14" Tall and is Approx. 11" in Width.  It is also Very Heavy.   There is a Label still attached on the Bottom that indicates it was " Made in INDIA ".
Although Not Certain, I believe this statue was Made in India in the 1970's.  I am uncertain as to whether it is Made of Brass or Bronze.  In any event is is quite Nicely done.
CONDITION:
EXCELLENT VINTAGE  CONDITION :  Nice  Patina, Given its age of  50+ years. One Small Spot of Corrosion on the Back Side Only of a 2" section of the Shell Tip.  It is Visible Only from the Back of the Statue.  Otherwise in Great Vintage Condition. No Noticeable Dents and No Repairs.  Please Review All Listing Photos and Judge Condition For Yourself.
