    Description
Original vintage correspondence (both sides of a 3.25" x 5.25" card sent in envelope) dated July 9, 1916.  From McGraw New York from "Nellie" to Miss Adelia F. Corraz in Bloomfield, NJ.  She talks about how thrilling the letter was that she received today from Miss Corraz. "I am anxiously awaiting the next installment."  "I think this war excitement is terrible, but we don't realize it so much here, not being near a large city. We have a cousin, a Cornell fellow, who has recently set out for the border. I so hope there won't be any serious conflict, for my patriotism isn't stirred up to such a pitch that I want to see my two big brothers march away to war."   More, please see scans for complete content.   Light normal aging, otherwise in overall FINE condition. Otherwise as seen in scans.
