    Description

    1930s Richard Krueger Little Red Riding Hood, Felt 10”.
    Vibrant color; very clean — near mint. Precious pursed ruby red lips, lush long-stroke eyelashes, adorable vivid blue eyes. She is a felt doll with stiff body — no joints, and socket head. Her adorable yellow yarn looped curls are still in her original set. Her cape is as red as new (no fading) and as whimsical as you would expect for a little girl trotting through the woods. She was very much enjoyed and celebrated during story time, but I’m told she was not a “hands-on” play toy… instead reserved for special appearances and typically perched high upon a shelf; a special gift from a loving uncle.
    This treasure is reasonably priced and from an estate of 9 sisters. I will list more dolls from the family as it sorts through them. Most dolls are from 50s and 60s — a few older ones from @30s that were handed down to the girls. Feel free to ask questions. I am no doll expert, but I will consult with the family. :)
    THESE DOLLS ARE USED AND IMPERFECT, though most are also well cared for over the years. Please do not bid if you are looking for mint condition.
