Photo 1 - This Western Union telegram is illustrated with a Birthday Greeting theme, and is from 1949
Photos 2-4 - The telegram is dated April 27, 1949. There is a small tear on the horizontal fold where it crosses the left vertical fold, and another one on the left fold under the last line of the message. The top edge has some small nicks and a tear at the top of the right vertical fold
Photos 5-7 - The envelope has an advertising message and illustration on the back. The right end has been roughly opened and the flap has a tear. There are two tears in the top edge and a small flap at the left end of the glassine window
