    Description

    Outstanding deeply and intricately hand carved wood panel featuring 3 figures who I believe are Lord Rama, Sika and Lakshmana with, what I believe to be, a God figure above them.  There is also a horned deer on the bottom area.  There are various other caring also includin a multitude of florals and leaves.  This beautiful wood carving measures 16" long by 9" wide and is 1 1/2" deep.  I believe it is teak wood, but am not sure.   I purchased it about 10 years ago from an estate sale.  The back is marked with a name, possibly the artist.  There are some age and natural cracks on the back, the carving appears to be in very good condition.
