These eggshells are from a local bakery. We triple rinsed, dried and baked at 200° for 2 hours to kill Salmonella, then ground in a food processor.
Eggshells contain approximately 90% calcium, (calcium carbonate) 6% magnesium, 1% phosphorus and other elements.
