Description

A reliable, easy to use, water soluble plant food formulated for blooming plants. Includes trace elements. This Jack's Professional fertilizer is especially effective for use in growing African violets and many other flowering plants. Mix 1/4 teaspoon in 1 gallon of water. It will turn the water a pale blue color. Dissolves best in warm water. Safe to use at each watering. Packed in a resealable, stand-up, heavy duty plastic pouch. When used at the ¼  teaspoon per gallon rate the contents of the pouch will make approximately 100 gallons of fertilizer solution. Use with top watering, bottom watering, wick watering, Oyama Planters, Swift's Moist Rite Planters or capillary mat watering. Can also be used as a foliar feed.
Some African violet growers find that fertilizers that use urea nitrogen as the source of nitrogen are not beneficial to their plants. The nitrogen source for this fertilizer is ammoniacal nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen. No Urea. The playing card in the photo is for size comparison and is not part of the listing.
