Fertilome Plant Food & Insecticide Plants Protector fertilizer Evergreen 4LB NEW
Promotes Strong Roots And Beautiful Blooms & Feeds + Protects Plants Against Insects For Up To 8 Weeks
    Landscape Plantings:
Apply as a broadcast treatment. Prior to application, remove black plastic or other weed barrier material that will not permit water permeability. NOTE: For optimum control, mechanical incorporation, irrigation or rainfall should occur within 24 hours after application to move the active ingredient into the soil. To control white grub larvae (such as Japanese beetle larvae, chafers, phyllophaga spp. Asiatic garden beetle, Oriental beetle), apply 3.5 to 4.5 lbs per 1000 sq ft.
    Application:
For new plants, apply when planting. For established plants, use before pest damage occurs or immediately seen. Repeat applications every 8 weeks during the growing season. Apply the required amount of granules evenly on top of soil, mix thoroughly in to the top soil layer, being careful not to damage the upper roots, then water in thoroughly. For flower beds, sprinkle granules evenly over bed.
    Flower Beds, Roses, And Shrubs:
For new plants, apply when planting. Use to control Adelgids, Aphids, Armored Scales (suppression), Japanese Beetle Adults, Lacebugs, Leaf Beetles (including elm leaf, viburnum leaf, and lili leaf beetles), leafhoppers (including glassy-winged sharpshooter), leafminers (including birch and boxwood leafminers), mealybugs, pine tip moth larvae, psyllids, root weevil larvae (including black vine weevils), sawfly larvae, soft scales (including lobate lac scales), thrips, and whiteflies. For flower beds, apply 2 oz (4 tablespoons) per 50 sq ft. Sprinkle granules evenly over bed. For roses, apply 2 oz (4 tablespoons) per plant. For shrubs, apply 4 oz (8 tablespoons) per foot of plant height.
