    What is TeraVita®
    LC 12:
TeraVita LC-12 is a liquid concentrate that contains 12% active humic acids by weight. Humic acids are not a plant food. Humic acids may increase the availability of micronutrients.
TeraVita LC-12 has been thoroughly filtered through a 200-mesh screen and will not clog spray or irrigation equipment. TeraVita LC-12 is compatible with most materials, except those with a very low pH (less than 4.0). It is not compatible with calcium nitrate.
To be safe, an initial jar test is always recommended when mixing TeraVita LC-12 with companion materials for the first time.
Humic acids are the “active ingredient” of soil humus.
They are very large and unique molecules that are formed from the biological decomposition of organic matter.
Humic acids chelate micronutrients (make them available to the plant), are a food source for soil microorganisms, promote proper soil structure, increase the water-holding capacity of soils, and contain many beneficial compounds, such as amino acids.
Humic acids hold onto free nitrates in the soil and prevent them from volatizing or leaching, making soluble portions of fertilizers more efficient.
Humic acids can also break apart insoluble phosphate bonds in the soil and make them available to the plant.
This leads to increased root development of plants.
On a foliar level, humic acids are also a synergist with other materials.
At very low concentrations in water, humic acids restructure the water, creating a “melted-water” state.
This allows the humic acid and any other compounds in the tank with it to enter the plant more efficiently.
Once inside the plant, humic acids speed up the metabolism of the plant, making any other materials taken in with it more efficient.
This means that when you add humic acid to any systemic fertilizer or pesticide, you can gain increased activity.
In many cases users have lowered their pesticide rates by 25% or more and still attained equal control.
In particular, users of glyphosate can typically reduce the rate by 25%-50% and still have equal control.
This can add up to significant savings while reducing the amount of pesticides added to the environment.
Humic acid can also be added to the full labeled rate of a pesticide to attain increased control of difficult problems.
    Application Rates:
    Whenever possible, TeraVita®
LC 12 should be applied in several smaller-dose applications rather than one larger-dose application. It may be applied directly to the soil or used with foliar fertilizers.
    Soil Applications:
1 - 6.5 Gallons of product per acre per application. Apply prior to germination and follow-up with soil applications every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season.
    Irrigation Applications:
1 - 6.5 Gallons of product per acre per application. Applications may be made every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season. The optimal concentration is 1oz per 10 gallons of irrigation water.
    Foliar Applications:
Apply 16 - 32 ounces per acre. The spray concentration should range between 1oz per 1 gallon of spray and 1 oz per 20 gallons of spray. The optimal concentration is 1oz per 10 gallons of spray.
**If used in conjunction with any herbicide, insecticide, or fungicide, always use 1oz per 10 gallons of spray, regardless of the total spray volume used.
For additional rates custom to your needs follow the product label or give us a call.
