Men's VINTAGE 1970s FRYE Campus Toe Boots Size 9.5 D Style # 2714 Excellent!

Description

This is a beautiful pair of men's Vintage Black Label FRYE campus-toe boots, size 9.5 D (medium width).  I understand that these boots were made in the late 1970s.  Style number 2714 - butterscotch/russet in color.  They have 2-1/4" heels and the soles are  1/2" thick.  Very Good Condition.
Leather shafts feature the longhorn stitching and are 15" high from the top of the heels and are leather-lined.  Tops of shafts measure about 5" across.  There is some color difference from the leather foot and the shafts, the foot being a little darker in color.  There are a couple minor scrapes to the leather above the outside of the heel on the left boot.  The leather soles have somewhat heavier wear and one of the boots shows a little blackening around the nails.  One of the inside heel pads has come loose, but I don't feel that these heel pads are original to the boots.  Light heel drag wear.  Right heel shows a slight crack or separation between the stacked leather on the outside of the boot.  Boots have a little light scuffing in a couple places as well.
Please keep in mind that these nice vintage boots are around 40-45 years old.
Butterscotch-
colored leather foot and lined leather shaft.  Frye Style #2714.  I have a Frye box, but am not sure if the box is the original with these boots.
These boots are in fantastic condition and have some light scuffing and creasing to the leather.  A little heavier wear to the leather soles and heels.  Please see all pictures.  Inside shafts of the boots are in excellent condition.   Insoles and stitching are in good condition as well.
My old Frye materials show that the color of these 2714 boots is russet, but the Frye box that I got them in shows "butterscotch."  Can't be sure that this Frye box is the actual box these boots came in.  I bought them about 3 years ago here on eBay and this is the box they came in.
Stacked leather Heels are 2-1/4" high with 15" high shafts. Soles are the triple leather soles which measure 1/2" thick.   These boots are really hot!
Soles measure 11-3/8" long and 4-1/2" wide at the widest point.
I'd rate these boots an 8 out of 10.   I haven't seen this particular Frye style in this good a condition in a long, long time.
Frye boots last a long time and only look better with age!
Double-boxed Package will weigh between 6 and 7 lbs.
I will ship the boots with Frye box inside another box, unless you desire that I omit one of the boxes to try to save on shipping costs.  I could ship the boots in a Frye box wrapped in paper if you wish, or I can ship the boots only in a Large Flat-Rate Box.  The Frye box, alone, is 19" long and 14" wide.  If you're the lucky winner, please let me know which method of shipping you prefer and I'll send an invoice reflecting the shipping.
