    Description

    Minox Riga S/N 15496 (1942-1943) near perfect condition.This camera was from the batch of Rigas hidden under the floorboards of the VEF factory by factory workers after the German occupation ended but before the Russians captured Riga, Latvia.
    The cameras were discovered after a major leak in the factory's water tower flooded and soaked the floors. Workmen pried open the soaked floorboards to discover roughly 100 cameras and assorted parts.
