WOW, check out this find!  These are unreal vintage mens HanWag leather hiking or mountaineering boots from around the late 1960's to early 70's from what I can tell.  These boots are the standard that all hiking boots are still held to and most don't live up!  They are very rare boots, with only a few pairs available online anywhere and none of them that I see are still brand new with the original box!  The model name is "Traithen" and the size says 8.  As you may notice the cuffs around the top of the boots were made of some type of rubber or synthentic material that has disintegrated over the years.  They will probably continue to if you decide to wear them, but it shouldn't affect the wear at all if you want to.  I can't find it listed where they were made, but from my research all of these boots would have been made in Germany.  You may never see another pair of these in this condition from nearly 50 years ago!  Please take a look at the pictures to see exactly what they look like.
