    For an early milk bottle, it just doesn't get any better.
    7 7/8" tall from bottom of bottle to top of assembly, 3" bottom diameter
    This bail assembly is different than any of the others I saw on line for this type of bottle.
    Pat April 27 1886 embossed on bottle top lid
    Has some chips on bottom edge,  the  two chips next to each other that hook together,  are about  1/2" long and 1/4" wide, there is another that is about 5/8" by 1/4" but that is inside the glass, and there is no roughness on the outside. The others are pretty small.
    Glass cover has some interior  rim dings,  and there are some  interior chips on the upper bottle  rim
    No cracks
    None of the damage is distracting when looking at the bottle on the shelf.
