    Description

    Correspondence with signatures (not authenticated by seller), CLARE BOOTHE LUCE, U.S. Congress, 4th Dist., Connecticut, 1943 & 1946. Luce served as Republican Congresswoman (1943-1947). She is probably better known as American author & playwright, with hit play "The Women", 1936.  The letters, on parchment, have slight discoloration and have been folded; otherwise in fine condition.
