Vintage postmarked 1918 letter addressed to Miss Mary Hutcheson, San Antonio Texas. Plaza Hotel, Gonzales, Texas letterhead. Written by O. F. Kimbrough on his way to his brothers in Goliad. He writes about his trips to several towns, having a good time then is concerned that she had the flu after he left and hopes she is better. Included in the envelope is the obituary notice for O. F. Kimbrough who died of pneumonia caused by influenza. He died at his brothers in Goliad less than 1 month after writing the letter. Age toning, torn envelope
