Vintage Hand Painted Floral Small Porcelain Cabinet Wall Plate

Description

A hand painted Limoges porcelain plate and signed on back in gold by artist "Lehtig". Handpainted poppies or large petalled flowers in salmon-pink with green foliage and blushes of yellow, mauve, aqua. White porcelain plate by Mavaleix, Mandavy, & Balleroy out of Limoges, France, backstamp used from 1908 to 1914. No cracks or chips, minor wear. Measures approx. 6 3/8" in diameter. Poppies are very important in France and were used as a symbol for World War One, matching the time period the plate was manufactured.

I search garage sales, estate sales, auctions, and thrift stores for the items I list for sale.
Items are cleaned/washed. Pottery, glass, and china are cleaned carefully, without using harsh methods or cleaners.
Photographs are part of the description. There may be reflections in photos of shiny, glossy, glass items and also shadows in some due to shifts in natural light or a lack of natural light.  Artificial light can cast an amber/yellow glow upon items, esp linens.
Vintage items generally show age and some wear and I do my best to make note of any condition issues.
