    Vtg 1955 Wooden Milk Crate 20 Half Pint Bottles - the crate is marked
    Kramer's Dairy Farm Weymouth Mass and is dated 9-55 for September 1955. It fits 20 1/2 pint size bottles. The bottles do not include any Kramer's but do have some nice local Massachusetts ones. There are 6 simply marked on the bottom Duraglas; 11 are embossed Musgrave's Dairy which was located at Lowell Mass.; 1 bottle is embossed Newton's; 1 bottle is embossed Whiting & Sons Boston and has a large W on the bottom; 1 bottle is marked in blue A Stewart & Son Round House Dairy. There are a total of 20 glass half pints and the crate is filled. This is exactly how I found it many years ago. I doubt you will find another Kramer's crate like this one.
    Good condition with nothing broken, age appropriate wear and the wood has a nice aged patina - see my 12 detailed photos. It weighs almost 18 pounds.
    Newton's Dairy was located at Pittsfield Mass. Round House Dairy was located at Middletown RI. Musgrave's Dairy was located Lowell Mass.
